I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student at UC Davis, and I work as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Lab for Intensive Biology (DIB Lab). I pursued my master’s degree from Nile University, where I worked as a Research Assitant in the Bioinformatics Research Group and as a Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science Department.

My research focuses on developing kmer-based techniques to transform, analyze, and make the most use of the fastly growing genomic data to improve diagnosis and treatment.
